Platinum Cookies (Platinum Cut of GSC)

Verified clone

This is a verified clone of the PLATINUM pheno of GIRL SCOUT COOKIES aka PLATINUM GIRL SCOUT COOKIES aka PLATINUM GSC aka PGSC (F1 Durban x South Florida OG) this is one of the original GSC cuts that helped turn Cookies into what it today. There are a few major GSC cuts on the market, Platinum, Thin Mint, Forum, OGKB, and 09 Animal Cookies (a GSC dominant cross). We here at PTG hold all of the cuts except OGKB.

In brief, Girl Scout Cookies is believed to be F1 Durban x South Florida OG bred by Jigga in the late 2000s for the Cookies Fam as it was known then. Thin Mint is the Cookies Fam Network's original clone only and PLatinum Cookies is her sister pheno. Platinum has a heavy silver trichome coverage and terps that boast heavily of candy and berry. This cut is chosen most often by the breeders working with GSC cuts when they can get her, casue she passes on her traits very well, and takes seed very well, where other cuts like the OKGB are harder to work with as they are products of a stress reaction.

Notice a
residue issue?
Don't worry,
it's just Sulphur.

WE USE A SULFUR BASED FOLIAR SPRAY IN OUR IPM REGIMEN

If you notice a white or yellow residue in the grooves or spots on the leaves of your new plants, it's most likely dried foliar spray, not powdery mildew (PM).

Sulfur is commonly used across many agricultural industries worldwide because it's one of the most cost-effective and efficient treatments for a variety of issues. This is why the presence of sulfur residue on your plants is perfectly normal.

In fact, sulfur is so effective that it eliminates PM on contact. If you're dealing with powdery mildew, a sulfur treatment will take care of it.

Important Note: To avoid a potential phototoxic reaction, wait 7-10 days after a sulfur application before using any oil-based IPM treatments.
