This is a verified clone of SKYWALKER OG (Emerald Triangle x Nevill's Hindu Kush), which is a TRUE CUT of OG Kush, the legendary wide leaf//global northern dominant hybrid strain that makes up the foundation of so many of the best genetics California is known for, and this is your chance to have a piece of history in your garden that you'll no doubt cherish for as long as you hold her.
 
All true cuts of OG are are wide leaf//global northern dominant hybrids of Emerland Triangle x Hindu Kush. OG Kush is NOT a Chemdog bagseed, which means no true OG cut is a narrow leaf/sativa/equatorial dominant hybrid. Any mentions of an OG being sativa leaning are rumors based on misunderstandings and marketing from the 90s.

This cut was gifted to us by our mentor who has held the cut for over 15 years and obtained it originally when they worked at the old Sunset Collective in West Hollywood where the Skywalker OG was originally renamed and sold.
 
Given the history, provenance, and characteristics of this cut, we believe it to be the original Skywalker OG sometimes called the G Cut that hit the early 90s scene in Hollywood.
 
Many of our clients have grown this cut out and cherish it as a treasure in their gardens as do we, since we try to put at least one row into everyone of our grows.
 
And now for a little bit of history...
 
OG Kush, as we know now, was born in a Garage in South Florida in 1991 as the result of the accidental pollination of a 12 light grow of Emerald Triangle by a pack of Nevill's Hindu Kush, which was left sitting  by an AC in early flower. The entire harvest was seeded, but given the era the packs were still distributed in Orlando amongst friends. One of whom would pop some of those bag seeds and find what we know today as Triangle Kush. And another one of those friends would find the Kush seed which would later be named OG Kush, and once those cuts made it out to California they became legends.
which brings us to SoCal in the early 90s and to Los Angeles around 1993-1996, where cuts and even bag seeds of the OG had been circulated and rumors and early hip-hop songs about OG Kush packs began to spread like a wildfire throughout the scene.
 
Thanks to San Fran's Prop P in 1991 and the eventual passing of Prop 215 in 1996, Cali growers were moving pounds on pounds of OG packs on the trad market as well as to the burgeoning medicinal clubs and collectives that began operating across SoCal.
 
Due to the oversaturation of OG Packs some of these early collectives would start renaming theirs to differentiate, which is how Skywalker OG became known as Skywalker OG.
 
For that story, we turn to, Ron Cabrera the original grower of Skywalker OG who called the OG cut he held "Sativa OG Kush" because back then the rumor and widely held belief was that OGK came from the bagseed of the other legendary strain from 1991 known as Chemdog (which is a narrow leaf/equatorial dominant hybrid found from a bagseed of "Dogbud"), but the Sunset Collective in WeHo that he sold his packs to renamed it to Skywalker OG and the rest is history.
